the great blue heron

I had the luch to be on the right place at the right time to spot a great blue heron while fishing.

While I was used to see them fishing by standing in the water and harpon fish, I was amazed to see he used 2 other different fishing techniques

- low altitude flight over the water and try to catch like eagles do

- diving into the water like pelicans do

unfortunately I only have a 200 mm, so the shots are small crops out of much larger pictures, which does affect the quality
